Awarded as a follow on contract to the successful CGG Veritas survey over the Dogger Bank, iXSurvey was contracted by
PA Resources Limited to undertake a similar survey at the same location in advance of a seismic survey to be conducted by the Western Eagle.
Data were acquired over a period of 21 days, during which time iXSurvey worked closely with the crew of the Eagle, ensuring that survey areas were cleared in accordance with the seismic vessel's lineplan and progress.
The vessel remained on station throughout the survey, despite frequent periods of severe weather, surveying when conditions permitted. Again, processed data were delivered to the seismic vessel prior to the iXPlorer reaching port.
